Welcome to The Barn Clubs and Groups Page

COVID-19

In the light of recent Government guidance relating to the spread of COVID-19 virus, the Committee has, with great sadness, decided to close the Hall from Thursday 19th March.

This will be for the foreseeable future and until Government guidance allows social gatherings again. The Committee will keep matters under review and will modify their decision as necessary.

For those hirers who have already made payments in advance of bookings these will either be carried forward as a credit against future bookings or refunded in full as the hirer wishes.

The village hall remains a facility for the benefit of the community. If any individual or group has an idea that might involve the use of the village hall for promoting the wellbeing of the community during this difficult period, the committee will be very happy to consider it in compliance with Government guidance at the time

Comments: I’m a professional artist as well as being a qualified teacher with more than 35 years’ experience teaching young people and adults. My classes are really relaxed and friendly, with no more than ten people at most – so plenty of individual attention! I’m a gentle tutor, aiming to encourage and inspire. I will explain how to get faces and figures in proportion, demonstrate techniques for you and show you easy ways to get creative

All classes are suitable for beginners, plus anyone who wants help with their techniques, or those who just want to practise. I will give as much or as little hands-on help and advice as you wish.

For more detailed information about each class and session times, please visit my website.
